It is all about having Educated Clients that know their options and choices. The result is that my clients know that they are in the best mortgage program for their situation. Sound Advice, Superb Service at low, competitive rates and costs and being your "Lender for Life" is my goal.

The Best Product for you
I feel that too many mortgage companies are simply out there concentrating on selling instead of helping a customer truly get the best product available for them, so don't be afraid to call and ask questions.

You want a professional that has made this a career to take care of your loan and make suggestions to you, not just an order taker who only knows how to read a rate off a piece of paper.

Although I consider it my duty to help you get the best deal and offer suggestions about different programs or ideas that may be available, you are never under an obligation to take any program other than the one you choose.

There is nothing worse than going to a party or event and speaking to a friend who took out a mortgage with an innovative program that may have fit your situation and to wonder why your mortgage professional did not take the time to inform you of that program. As long as you have been presented the choice, even if you did not take it, you will be able to hold your head high and say to your friend "Oh, yes, Scott told me about that! In fact, the way Scott arranged my mortgage was even better than that for me."

I will never tell you to take one program over another, I will only show you the advantages and disadvantages and the options that you have at your disposal. A mortgage is an expensive item and should not be taken lightly or decided on without exploring all your choices. With over 40 banks and literally hundreds of different programs available, my goal is simply to make you aware of the other programs that may fit your situation.

About you and your Mortgage
Many of my clients who have found me through Daily Interest have taken the time to read the articles and already have their mind made up once they call me. No problem there! I will happily help you fill out those papers and get you to the closing table as fast as anyone around.

I treat every mortgage as if it were the mortgage on my own home. In assisting you to secure a new mortgage loan for your home, I am looking to make you a customer for life and to tell your friends what a great experience you had. I know that I will make much more money when you tell friends than I can ever make off of your one mortgage and that is why my rates are always considerably lower than the national average.

The rates I post each business day are extremely competitive because I look to make a fixed amount off of each mortgage, not a fixed percentage as many others do. Although the rates are posted with points and percentages, the amount of your mortgage may very well get an even better deal than you can find there.

Still, anyone can fill out papers and tell you where to sign! While I am happy to do that, I take pride in helping borrowers with special circumstances or bruised or damaged credit get into the mortgage loan to get back on your feet. There is absolutely no reason to be embarrased or afraid to call here if you have a problem. What is done is done, let's find a solution.

Even if you cannot qualify for a mortgage, you will get straight answers about how long it will be until you can and how to make sure that you can qualify down the road.

I you are not quite ready for a mortgage, you can always call, chat or email. Many times an answer before the process has started someone on the right track or a track different than they would have taken to make the actual mortgage process easier. My job does not start when you sign the mortgage application and end when you sign at the closing, but goes on long before and after that time for many of my clients.

The website
In coming up with a design for DailyInterest.com, I reviewed many of the other lender's websites that are out there and it seemed to me that way too many of these sites focused simply on getting a signature on the application without providing much usable information.

I hope I will be able to give you a little more. My goal is to have the most educated clients, since I believe that if you know what your options are and understand why one option is better than another for you, you will not only be educated but also assured that you have gotten the best deal for yourself.

When it comes to writing about any of the misdoings of others (and some of my own mistakes!) is that if I can help just one person avoid being mislead, overcharged or led into a mortgage that is not best for them, then this website has done it's purpose. While I write about how to avoid scams and being mislead in this website, there are many honest, straightforward companies and mortgage professionals who will do what is right and my hope is that this website will assist you in finding those people, if you do not decide to have me assist you in obtaining a mortgage.

I have included the basic information, such as a glossary and descriptions of available loan programs, I have also included scenarios in each section to help you get a feel for the way I have guided my clients in the past.
